Shuqing (Shawn) Hu is a Chinese fashion designer and also a storyteller. He believes garments are a unique media to tell the story. The way he tells the story is from a different angle, viewers in most cases care about the outcome more than studying the cause, but he is a compassionate person who wants to communicate how the story unfolds through his pieces and educate people at the same time.
His work is eye-catching, at the same time, it has rich connotations. People are attracted because they want to know the story behind. He incorporated different materials and techniques in the design, it has layers. He has the ability to balance drama and acceptability.
